Gregory Scot Boulus Jr. Obituary, Lover of Coastal Nature and Music Gregory Scot Boulus Jr. Passed Away

Augusta, GA / Edisto Island, SC — It is with great sadness that the family of Gregory Scot Boulus Jr. announces his unexpected passing on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Wellstar MCG Hospital. Gregory, known for his deep love of coastal nature, fishing, boating, and music, leaves behind his parents, Clare and Greg Boulus, and his brothers, Vaughan and Pierce.

Funeral Mass to celebrate Gregory’s life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with Fr. Mark Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park, and the family will receive friends after the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions in Gregory’s honor to support causes close to his heart: the Edisto Island Open Land Trust (edisto.org), located at 547 SC-174, Edisto Island, SC 29438, and Nuci’s Space (nuci.org), at 396 Oconee St, Athens, GA 30601. These organizations reflect his passion for preserving natural spaces and supporting music and arts communities.

Gregory’s love for exploring the creeks and rivers of Edisto and playing music in Athens will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His spirit lives on through these passions and the lasting memories shared by family and friends.
